If you are reading this now...I am going to assume you are interested in Youth Ministry at FBC.   That to me is exciting!!!!   The youth at FBC are a critical part of the church family here.   I have heard it said many times, "Youth are the future of the church."    Yes!!! and they are the church of today.    They are not Junior Christians with a Junior Holy Spirit.   They are born again believers with a call to go and make disciples just like everyone else.    My job along with the leadership of the church and their parents is to lead them, instruct them, teach them and love them in accordance with the Word.   What an awesome responsibility and priveledge.   At FBC we believe it is our job to equip and then to put that teaching into SERVICE.

I have been on staff here at FBC now for 5 + years.   I received my BA from Southwest Baptist College (now University) in Bolivar, MO and my MS from Emporia State University in Emporia,KS.    I have been in church all my life and I have served in some capacity.......but it was not until my late 30's and early 40's that i finally realized what it really means to BE the CHURCH.

If you would like to know more about FBC or about Youth Ministry at FBC please give us a call anytime!

Children's Coordinator

Jamie Jones

If it is children's ministry you are looking for you have come to the right place!
First, let me tell you a little about myself. Prior to being called to lead the children at FBC I was the owner/director of a childcare center here in Dixon for 15 years. I have been married to my best friend for 25 years and we have 2 children, Chelsey 23, and Chance 17.
I love that God is using me to do his work here with the children. I strive to provide activities that are full of fun and adventure while sharing the love of Jesus Christ all along. I believe that todays children are tomorrows church. We should nourish their young minds and hearts with biblical truths and help them grow to be able to apply it to their daily lives so they will become obedient to Gods callings.
If you would like more info on the childrens activities please dont hesitate to contact me.
